The BigHeds’ Educational Packet

This packet is a great educational tool aiding students to reach their academic best. It is clear and concise; requires limited teacher preparation, materials, resources, and time (only 15/20 minutes maximum a day); and promotes language and social development. The BigHeds’ Educational Packet includes electronic media containing the Teacher’s Manual & Student Practice Book, and “The Broken Law,” “Trouble in Paradise,” “The Goody Bag,” and “Home Sweet Home.”

The BigHeds' Adventures Educational Packet contains indicators from the Ohio Department of Education Academic Content Standards with special emphasis on the Social, Oral and Visual Communicators for Grades Two and Three. This packet is not intended to be a basic text, but intended as an addition to the regular text. Through "good modeling" by the teacher and "opportunities to practice", social and language skills will be strengthened, vocabulary and comprehension will improve and an increase in reading achievement will follow.
